A total of 333 players are available for auction in 2024, out of which 214 are Indians and 119 are overseas players. Some of the big players like Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Shardul Thakur, and many others are sold at a very good price.
- Mitchell Starc is the highest sold player in this IPL at a price of 24.75 Cr. He was taken by Kolkata Knight Rider.
- Pat Cummins becomes the second most expensive player with a price of 20.50 Cr securing a place in Sunrisers Hyderabad.
- Sameer Rizvi a uncapped player hit the jackpot in IPL 2024, coming with a base price of 20 Lakh was sold to Chennai Super Kings at a price of 8.40 Cr.
- Subham Dubey, another uncapped player was booked by Rajasthan Royals at a price of 5.80 Cr. Subham is a pan stall owner’s son, earlier he had no money to buy batting gloves for himself and today he was in the expensive players list.
